About Our Name
Homage to Logan Square
In 1836, schoolteacher-turned-hay-farmer Martin Kimbell became one of the first settlers in our neighborhood. In his honor, the road outside his farm was named after him. Unfortunately, a paperwork misspelling in 1889 resulted in an accidental renaming, and signs display Kimball still today. In honor of both Martin and home, we are Kimbell House Marketing.
